Well, it’s an interesting question, can IQ be really improved? We generally measure IQ level by logical abilities, mental maths & by measuring the logical reasoning abilities of the person. So can these abilities be improved? The answer is yes. Why? “Use it or lose it”. How many times have you heard that phrase? It is a simple fact – the more the brain is used, the better its functions work. Let me take an example, when I was a child, my logical abilities were too weak that I couldn’t judge either I was wearing my shoes in the correct order or not? But when I grow up my logical skills increased by surrounding observations, by schooling, by logical thinking. With time now I am able to solve complex mathematical problems. Then we can infer that my IQ level is also improved with time. Let's take an example of a simple IQ series question
2, 4, 8, 16, 32, … ?
What comes next?
When we put this question in front of any person his first reaction would be thinking all the possible ways through which he can find the next missing number. We can say he/she put more pressure on his mind to find out the solution to the problem. But different people can take different time to reach to the solution and to find out the exact logic behind the pattern. Now after solving the first problem if we put more problems in front of the person now his/, her logical thinking must be improved to solve such kind of problems more easily & quickly. Now we can simply infer that the IQ level of the person is increased by solving such IQ series & pattern problems. You can measure your IQ Level by giving IQ Tests. By the way for the above series Answer is 62. Each number of the term is double from the previous number.
