## Tips to Solve Visual & IQ Patterns Test

In a visual IQ test, there is no specific type of problems. Each problem in IQ test patterns can differ from the others. But the basic rule of thumb to solve such problems by carefully analyzing the given information. First of all, try to find out all the possible relationships in the given shapes. So the same relationship which we found in the given pictures will also be present with one of the given options. We need to identify that option logically based on that same pattern.

First of all, carefully read, analyze and understand the problem. If it's an Odd man out type question, Try to find out the relation or similarities between all the given options. You will easily find out the relationship between all options except the one. And that option is the possible answer.

In shape IQ tests we usually see the rotation of given pictures. For example, a Triangle can be given with a rotation of 90 degrees towards the right in 3 shapes. And can be asked to choose the next possible shape from the options. If you identify the pattern perfectly, you can easily pick the right answer. But as mentioned above there is no specific type of shape IQ problems, every time you need to pick the answer logically.
